Together with Cornelsen & Partner the project team of Vitters Shipyard, Dubois Naval Architects and Dick Young Designs has created a comfortable world cruiser equipped and finished to high standard. The 140 feet Drumbeg (ex GIMLÄ) combines comfort with seaworthiness and has extensive interior space.

Drumbeg’s single towing carbon fibre mast features swept back spreaders for easy short handed sailing whilst a simple and efficient deck arrangement provides ample storage and deck lounging areas. Wonderful attributes for a vessel who’s owners intend to reach out equatorial and arctic regions for the pleasures of worldwide cruising enjoyment.

In the forward section Drumbeg comprises four crew cabins with laundry, galley and crew’s mess. The owner’s master suite and four guest cabins, each with private bathroom, are located aft. There is a deck salon with a beautiful view outside and a lower salon.

The interior is styled to achieve a calm and restful atmosphere using minimal detailing. Birch, stainless steel and oiled teak are the dominant materials. Teak counter tops, stone basins, hidden back lightning are just some of the impressive features in the bathrooms. The owners’ suite is on twin levels and features separate dressing room and sauna.
